 What is Educational Sales Co (ESCOBOOKS)?

     Educational Sales Company (ESCO) is a wholesaler and distributor of schoolbooks.  ESCO was founded in 1993 in Tempe, AZ. Over the years, ESCO has served thousands of schools and parishes across the United States, supplying everything from textbooks and paperbacks to religious educational products and reference books.

Why should I order books from ESCO?

 ESCO is committed to maintaining the quality and service that you deserve when making your product decisions. You can count on us for personal service, timely delivery, and quality products with guaranteed satisfaction. We offer wholesale discounts to schools and parishes across the United States.  

How long will it take to get my books?

 Your order should arrive in 7-10 business days. If you haven’t received your complete order in this amount of time, please contact us for more information.    

How are my books shipped?

   ESCO normally will ship your order insured via UPS or truck. Shipping charges will be added to your invoice. We can accommodate rush shipments at an additional rate. Minimum charge is $10.95. Some orders will arrive in more than one shipment. ESCO may ship from stock located in the ESCO warehouse or drop ship orders directly from the publisher.

What if I have a problem with my order?

 Call ESCO Customer Service between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday MST at 800-999-5199, or email orders@escobooks.com.

What methods of payment will ESCO accept?

ESCO will accept payment in the form of company check or money order. Payment is due Net30.

What if my order is incomplete when it arrives?

 Check the packing slip. If nothing has been marked “backorder”, contact ESCO Customer Service to report missing items. Backordered items will follow shortly after receiving the shipment.

What is ESCO’s return policy?

 All new books are returnable for up to six months from invoice date for full credit. Like-new and used books that receive the additional discount are guaranteed for satisfaction but are non-returnable.

Can I sell my overstock books?

Yes.  Submit a list of your unused, unwanted, overstock books. Please include the ISBN, Title, Quality (New or Like New), and Quantity of the books you have to sell.  We will contact you with a quote for what we are currently purchasing. ESCO will pick up the books free of charge. You may request payment by check or customer credit.

Do you sell used books?

 ESCO has like new books available for 15% off. Like new books have slight shelf wear and may include a school stamp, sticker, or name. If you order textbooks, used books may be available upon request.

Do you charge sales tax?

 Sales tax only applies to shipments within Arizona. Institutions from all other states can save the sales tax on all purchases from ESCO.

Do you offer delayed billing?

Yes.  We offer fall billing upon request for orders shipped between April 15 and Aug. 30, 2024. Due in full by Sept. 30.

Do you sell to individuals or home schools?

No.  ESCO is a wholesale distribution company that sells to institutions only. Wholesale pricing applies to all orders.

Do you sell only what is listed on the website or catalogs?

ESCO offers tens of thousands of titles, many not listed. If you don’t see a title you need, please contact us 800-999-5199 or email orders@escobooks.com.
